I just wanted to say kudos to you and your organization. I am a hispanic man, but I am an American first. We need to protect our people, our culture and our economy. Sure, being compassionate is great, but if we make exceptions for the illegals, we give them compassion while sacrificing our own kind. That is not compassion. Mexico must deal with its own problems and not expect hard working Americans to take up their slack. Keep up the good work and I look forward to the day where America is the home of Americans once more.

I feel quite amused by your ridiculous efforts in order to detain illegal immigration...we already are all over and within a decade, you will be ruled by us! It would be ludicrous not to accept that. it is a fact! Yesterday we were illegal immigrants, border jumpers. Tomorrow, voters, dear Mr. King...voters, and as you are aware of, our families quite prolific, which means more voters... why should we be worried if your government does support our needs?? you are the closest thing to resemble the white scum that afloats when feces sail along...so are your associates and supporters... I honestly doubt that you would have the courage to publish this letter...
Sincerely despising you
Nohseu Rabbo Enffio Thuddo Grosso, Peabody, MA
YOU ARE RACIST!!! WE ARE HOME!!!! MR. KING NEEDS TO GET A LIFE!!!!! VIVA MEXICO.

i have told them that it is now up to them to pick up where they first experienced your huge presence.
thank you from a father, grandfather and veteran. thank you from a fellow american.

Please do post this comment, the last time I sent my comment it was not posted maybe because Mr. King didn't like what I wrote, oops too bad.
We immigrants specially latinos are tired of you people trying to blame every single bad thing that happens on us. We are not criminals, we did not come here to take your jobs away from you, you are handing them to us. Employers knowing they can get a fine for hiring illegal people still give us the opportunity to work. Why? The reason is not that they want to avoid paying payroll tax, I have to admit there are some that do it because of that but not all of them they hire us because we like to work. I don't mean to offend anyone but it is very rare to see an american washing dishes, cleaning floors, or working in landscape. Well they do work in landscape company but all they do is drive and they take a break about every hour to smoke a cigarrete or mariguana. Don't blame us because employers prefer to hire us instead of you it is not our fault.
The SB 529 bill is wanting to restric public services for illegal people. We hispanic people are the ones that use public services the less legals or illegals, ask yourself how many katrina refugees took or are still taking advantage of government help because they claim they can't find a job.
You guys refer to immigrants as mexican o latinos not only latinos are immigrants.
Anyone could killed Dustin, does it make any difference if it was a legal or illegal immigrant, mexican, black, white? NO IT DOESN'T! he would have died anyways, now what if the one that died was the "illegal" would you have founded this organization? of course NOT.

I agree that it is a God-awful thing to see our once-pristine land being polluted by a bunch of disgusting foreign illegal aliens who have no business being here. They came over here, uninvited, in unchecked droves like cockroaches, and now we are infested with them. I say that we should go to war with them and drive them whence they came.
I am an American Indian, and I am talking about you European Americans, of course. You people are totally foreign to this land, and you have no right to be here. At least the Latinos are part Indian; therefore, they have more of a right to be here than you do, you racist assholes.
You European assholes came over here and stole all of this land from my people, and now you want to consider yourselves as the quintessential Americans. What a joke. You immigrated under policies which had no waiting periods and had no requirements or standards for you to meet in order to achieve immigration status (as long as you were from western Europe). Now, you want to make it almost impossible for the Latinos to immigrate here.
Don't forget that you assholes stole half of Mexico in 1848 under your racist, ethnocentric policy of "Manifest Destiny." America now calls such thievery as "naked aggression," and we go to war with other countries for doing less than what we did. For instance: when Iraq invaded Kuwait, we went to war with Iraq. What a bunch of hypocrites you people are!
Why don't you do us all a favor and go back to Europe where you came from?

Please accept this modest sum of $100 I'm sorry it is not a thousand times more, but my income is my pension which does not change with the seasons. You are doing the work of our nation's heroes. You rightly perceive that not only the future but also the very survival of the United States as a Nation is at stake. There seem to be some sinister forces at work in our government to destroy our beloved Home-Sweet-Home. Whoever they are they must be unmasked and punished without equivocation, as an example of the fate of traitors which must be a lesson for generations to come.

Also, I think that since we are called names because we want our laws enforced it's time to start calling those the name they have earned - TRAITOR!

Mr. King - I saw you on the news last night and just wanted to say thank you for taking the stand and speaking up for what the majority of Americans and Georgians think, believe and want to say - yet we do nothing about it.
Hopefully your words and courage will be the inspiration for many others to speak out even if it is not the popular

I just wanted to say a huge Thank you to you for being at the forefront of the illegal immigration issue. I live in Dalton and see the things you talk about every day first hand. We have been over run. Thanks to all your work, the S.B. 529 has now gone to the governor for his signature. I realize the law should have come down harder on illegals, but we have to start somewhere. I just hope other state take up the "good fight" and continue to cause problems on the federal level. I am sorry to say that both times I voted for George Bush. I know consider myself an independant. Again thank you for all the hard work you have put into this campaign of relief for legal georgia citizens and voters. Why don't you run for President in the next campaign? I will vote for you.

I'm Venezuelan, I live in my country, but still it catches my attention the issue on illegal inmigration in the US. I'm aware doing illegal things bring bad consequences in a long term. Some years ago, I had an American boyfriend. He told me I could travel to the US to visit him. Almost impossible since Venezuela and US have no excellent relationship. A month later, he told me I could get a flight ticket to Mexico and, from there, to cross the border to the US and marry a friend of him and getting the American citizenship. I imagined myself doing that and definitely I didn't accept it. The reasons: dignity and self-respect. I just wanted to visit your country, that's it. But not interested in living there, even when I hear the idea (from many Latinamericans) that I might reach the American Dream. Living in a different country is difficult, especially when there's a stigma on Latinamerican people.
I, as individual and independent-thinking person, have respected laws. Why should I disrespect laws in another country? I'm not rich, I wish my financial situation were better. But my situation wouldn't lead me to be illegally resident in another country. Most of Latinamericans (including me) get upset when they hear bad comments on our community; it's a natural reaction. But I wonder why... why does it happen? Latinamericans defend themselves saying they're hard workers (it's reasonable since they come from a harsh situation in their countries) But can we apply that concept to all Latinamericans?definitely not and they should be aware of that. Can we blame them? not at all. Because the illegal inmigration is a consequence of the American Dream idea spread all over the world; by who? The government and influential persons .Now president Bush wants more security in the borders...
Why Latinamerican community has such power now? I'd like to know why. Why do they defend a thief just because he's part of the Latinamerican community? Why do they even attempt to translate your national anthem? why, why, why. I have so many questions. I don't know the situation in depth, but those protest rallies just make me sick, because those people are the ones who support the embargo against Cuba and bad press against South American governments. So, it's not honest to me that a bunch of people inmigrate illegaly, try to change laws in a convenient way, defend to death living in a country that is not theirs but still they don't care about their origin countries. They defend their culture just for convenience and to appear to be better than you Americans. It just makes me sick. I wouldn't allow any foreigner to change my country in any way or do illegal things. There are honest people that do good things. In my homecity, there's a mix of Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Lebanese inmigrants. They have done good things for my city. In general, I support inmigrants when they bring positive ideas and actions to a determined country.
Perhaps my ideas are mixed, but my keyword is respect. I respect your point of view because I would think the same way if something similar would happen in my country. I would never agree with discrimination to any community, it's just wrong; but laws are laws and no one has the right to break them.
I could see you in CNN en Espaņol. I was surprised because that channel mostly reports the illegal's cause. But I'm glad I could hear a different opinion.
I hope you keep struggling on your cause and defend your right to think different.

I just read the article about you in the AJC and wanted to thank you for fighting back against the invasion by illeagle aliens. I was born and raised in southern California and lived there for the first 34 years of my life but finally realized they were not going to do anything to stop the destruction of the state I loved. I moved to Georgia 3and a half years ago and was shocked by the amount of illeagles here. It has become a national disgrace. I try to educate the people around me but they don't care - they will, but then it will be too late. Thanks again, its people like you who will keep America the great country it has always been.

I feel very strongly about the good job Mr. King is doing since I too have been victimized by the illegals. They come into a neighborhood and before you know it, the property values have come way down. That does not include the late parties, cars parked everywhere and trash all over the place. You call the authorities and nothing is done as well.
I don't have a problem with people coming here to work, but do it the legal way and pay taxes. Back in the 1980's I lost my job and as a tax payer and law obiding citizen, I had to take a back seat to all of the illegals at the hospital when I got sick and on top of that, I had to pay for the bill. They don't. What is wrong with this picture?
I am a Hispanic male as well, but in Rome do as the Romans do. I came to this country because I admire the cleanliness, the order and the personal responsibility and accountability of its citizens. I didn't come here to change anything, otherwise I would have stayed in my own country.
The goverment needs to get involved and punish those who uses illegal labor, deny public and health assistance, and find a way to tax and penalize those that are currently here illegaly. Perhaps the ones that employ them should pay for the health insurance.

D.A. it is time for you to run for office, this Country is dying, it has no direction, it has no leadership... It is time for an American Patriot to Rise up, and take the Nation back...

I just read an article on the AJC on your profile, and your cause. I just wanted to take this time out to thank you for sacrificing all that you have in order to keep this country as legal as possible. I have recently read several articles on the protests that are happening over the bill that needs to be passed on companies getting fined for hiring illegal. And I could not get over the fact that there actually is a protest.
People do not seem to grasp the concept of illegal entry into the country. I don't see how race is an issue with this. Not once does it say, Mexicans get out, all it says is if you are coming here, please be nice enough to sign the guestbook, learn the language, and pay taxes into the economy that will be supporting you. I see the argument that these illegals are paying taxes on goods once they are in the country, but I don't see how a 5 cent tax on a 99 cent taqueto is helping out any. Not while I am paying hundreds out of every paycheck to support these people's healthcare and public schools for the kids that don't speak the language, and in turn will hold my child back because more attention has to be paid to them.
I want to see how everyone of the bleeding hearts will feel in 10 years when Spanish becomes the national language and English is a bonus for anything. I want to thank you for your efforts, I hope that they noticed by more than just me. And for the record, I am of Hispanic background. My parents came here over 30 years ago. But, they both got their papers, both spoke the language BEFORE they got here, and both had legal, tax paying jobs. They also raised me and my brother, to embrace our heritage, never be ashamed of it, but realize that we were both Americans, and our loyalties lay here.
We were taught to love this country, and protect it, as well as kick back to it. That means legal jobs, that regenerate money into out economy. This is where people seem to get confused. It's not a don't come here bill, it's a please play by the rules bill. I can respect anyone that wants a better life for their family, but for god's sake, assimilate yourself into the culture you wish to live in.
Jorge Ferrer, GA
Please, please keep up the good work so that we don't all end up speaking Spanish or having another civil war. I just hope it's not too late!

I have some important information for you.
I work in the MORTGAGE industry and am distressed that some nationwide mortgage lenders are now offering HOME loans for ILLEGAL aliens by using a TAX I.D. number in place of a SOCIAL SECURITY number right here in GEORGIA.
I am a Veteran of the Marine Corps myself and appreciate the work and sacrifice that you are taking on.
Can't the state BLOCK Mortgage lenders from lending in the state with just a tax i.d. number?

I just wanted to Thank You for your efforts. I have been an activist in Hoover, Alabama for 3 years and I am pleased that this community is starting to recognize the dangers with illegal and is moving forward with punitive measures such as Vagrancy, Rental Occupancy Ordinances and enforcing Documentation Laws.
It will not surprise you that the Birmingham News has been the leading critic and opponent of these efforts. We are branded racists for doing the right thing. This is fine with me. Patriots must do what is right.
