Cobb County County Board of Commissioners rally, October 24, 2006, page 1
Below are photos from our rally in support of the Cobb County Board of Commissioners Tuesday, 24 October, 2006.
Cobb County Georgia now has begun to use the Basic Pilot Program , is in the process of using the SAVE program and has applied to begin using the 287g portion of the 1996 Immigration and Nationality Act for training local police to help multiply the effects of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.
Cobb is only the first county in Georgia to do so and has started well before the date mandated by the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act authored by state Senator Chip Rogers and signed into law by Governor Perdue.
All because of Americans making their voices heard and being educated on existing law, facts and available tools provided by the federal government.
Please see here for info on all of the above and recognize that we as voting Americans have made a difference in Georgia. We will continue to do exactly that. Many thanks to all who came out to help.
We thank the Cobb Board of Commissioners for their leadership and courage.
