Georgia Supreme Court rejects appeal from disqualified candidate

Here.

More here.

Note that the number of reporters who are willing to explain how this former illegal alien was able to become a U.S. citizen at all is….zero.

It’s not only yet another issues survey: Georgia Congresswoman Karen Handel’s official website – guess what is not mentioned on her “issues” page?

It’s not only missing from yet another issues survey.

Re; Georgia Congresswoman Karen Handel’s official website – guess what is not mentioned on her “issues” page? (Neither is the Paul Ryan amnesty bill she voted on earlier this year.)

Georgia has more illegal aliens than Arizona. We have more illegal aliens than green card holders.

My own congress Rep, Karen Handel, apparently doesn’t want illegal immigration, possible illegal alien terrorists, border security, E-Verify, amnesty, sanctuary cities, visa tracking or official English to be “an issue.”

Maybe I missed it on her official website issues page?

SABOTEURS OF IMMIGRATION LAW ENFORCEMENT -The danger the Left’s attack on ICE poses to communities

SABOTEURS OF IMMIGRATION LAW ENFORCEMENT
The danger the Left’s attack on ICE poses to communities.

August 2, 2018 Joseph Klein

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) focuses its law enforcement efforts against illegal immigrants toward criminals and public safety threats. They helped to make over 4,800 gang related arrests in FY2017. Through the first half of FY2018, more than two-thirds of all persons arrested by ICE are convicted criminals. For example, according to federal officials cited by the Los Angeles Daily News, a three-day federal immigration sweep targeting convicted criminals in the U.S. illegally resulted in 162 arrests across Southern California last June. These included a Mexican national arrested who had been convicted of rape, a previously deported El Salvadorian who had been convicted of voluntary manslaughter, and sex offenders against children. In a separate action last June, ICE removed an El Salvadoran illegal immigrant who was the subject of an active arrest warrant in El Salvador for affiliation with a criminal organization (MS-13). ICE also removed an Irish national who was a member of the organized crime syndicate “Cock-Wall Gang” and had served time for manslaughter in Ireland. He had entered the U.S. through the Visa Waiver Program that President Trump has so strongly criticized and overstayed his visa. These are just a few examples of ICE successes in helping to keep Americans safe from illegal immigrant predators.

“Every day the brave men and women of ICE are liberating communities and towns from savage gangs like MS-13 that are occupying our country like another nation would,” President Trump said at a rally in Tampa, Florida on Tuesday. “We want maximum border security and respect for our heroes ICE, border patrol, and law enforcement.” Most Americans would agree with the president. However, many Leftists want to shut down ICE.

“My read is that ‘Abolish ICE’ is the demand, and defunding ICE is the mechanism to do that,” said Sean McElwee, co-founder of Data for Progress, who came up with “Abolish ICE” as a hashtag in February 2017. He is the co-founder of Abolishice.org whose stated goal is “to abolish ICE and create an immigration system divorced from white supremacy.” He believes, in his own words, “that every Democrat running in the 2020 Presidential Election will have to articulate a vision of a world without ICE.” Left-wing advocacy groups such as Moveon.org and Justice Democrats are helping to lead the charge. The latter group labeled ICE as “a state-funded terrorist group.” More here.

Letter: Abrams wrong on immigration

Stacey Abrams’ quote on immigration in the Daily Citizen-News story “Abrams: ‘Those who share Democratic values have not lifted their voice sufficiently in recent years” is indicative of the misdirection anti-enforcement liberals — including some Republicans — offer up on the issue.

Democrat Abrams told the editorial board “she believes immigration is a federal issue. We need strong, comprehensive, bipartisan legislation,” she said. “We cannot have 50 states with 50 different immigration laws.”

What the pols who attempt to pass this worn-out, mindless drivel off as a policy position hope is that voters will not realize that Congress has already passed comprehensive, bipartisan legislation into law on immigration.

The entire nation is supposed to be governed by the existing laws on borders and immigration. What Abrams means is that she doesn’t like the laws we have, she doesn’t want them enforced and that at least 11 million illegal aliens could be voting Democrat if Congress would just make them legal and reward them with U.S. citizenship — like Reagan did in 1986 with that “one time” immigration amnesty.

Abrams says we should ignore illegal employment. This allows black-market labor to continue to keep wages down for working Americans — including legal immigrants looking for a better life who trusted us to honor the pledge of an equal application of the law.

According to the left-leaning Georgia Budget and Policy Institute, Georgia is home to more illegal aliens than Lawful Permanent Residents (“green card” holders).

According to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Pew Research Center, Georgia has more illegal aliens than Arizona.

Immigration is certainly a national problem, but the concept that every state and local government doesn’t have the responsibility to use the federal tools provided for enforcement is preposterous — and dangerous.

Georgia has multiple laws in place to attempt to safeguard jobs benefits and services from the crime of illegal immigration using programs offered by congress. As a legislator, Stacey Abrams voted against literally every one of them passed when she was in office under the Gold Dome. She also told the newspaper that she opposes Sheriff Scott Chitwood’s 287(g) agreement with the feds to help locate and report illegal aliens who land in his jail after being arrested for additional crimes.

It is difficult to cast Abrams as anything but anti-enforcement on immigration and it is chilling to imagine what laws she would ignore as governor.
