D.A. King and the Dustin Inman Society need 10 minutes of your help – ACTION NEEDED! PLEASE HELP US?

Action needed FIRST STEP TO SAVE THE GEORGIA SECURITY AND IMMIGRATION COMPLIANCE ACT (GSICA) of 2006! HELP US PLEASE!!!!!

Dear fellow Americans,

As crazy as it sounds to say, in 2005, we started a grassroots effort here in Georgia to pass legislation that would require the state of Georgia and all of the local governments in it ( 159 counties, 535 cities) to comply with federal immigration and employment law. Radical stuff, I know.

Authored by a very brave Georgia state Senator, Chip Rogers, who is now the Senate Majority Leader, in 2006 Georgia governor Sonny Perdue signed into law the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act (GSICA). Essentially, it mandates that the local governments in Georgia use federally provided data-bases ( E-Verify and SAVE) to be sure that taxpayer dollars do not go to hire illegal labor or to grant illegal aliens most “public benefits” – like welfare, public housing assistance or permission to open a business ( commercial licenses) here in Georgia.

Many of you helped us rally, write letters, make phone calls and plead with the Georgia legislature to pass this law that says we should obey the law.

Nearly three years later, there is nearly zero compliance by most of Georgia’s local governments who have granted their own sanctuary and a defacto amnesty for illegals here. Try ignoring the law as a citizen and see what happens.

I have written about it repeatedly, spoken to various groups explaining that fact and spent the last 2 years trying to convince the local elected officials to obey the law. So far…the big money is winnning, but we now have the attention of the lawmakers. Again.

I need help.

Pending Georgia legislation, HB 2, if approved by the Georgia House APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE on its way to becoming law, will impose financial penalties on non compliant local governments for ignoring the law. Most of us understand that illegal immigration is organized crime and all about the money. If it becomes law, HB 2 will force compliance and result in even more illegal aliens migrating out of Georgia. And more jobs and services for Americans.

I AM NOW PLEADING WITH YOU ALL TO SEND AN E-MAIL TO JUST SOME OF THE 70 MEMBERS (LISTED BELOW) OF THE GEORGIA HOUSE APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE AND THE AUTHOR OF THE BILL LETTING THEM KNOW THAT WE ARE WATCHING AND WILL REMEMBER WHAT THEY DO IN THEIR COMMITTEE MEETING TUESDAY @ 2pm.

I have extracted some of the e-mail address’ from the House Website of members and link them below. The entire list of members of the committee is HERE.

Some of the members are under pressure from powerful lobbying groups for local government to alter the law to make it easier for illegals to obtain the jobs and benefits that only legal residents of Georgia should have and THEN pass a bill that says we should obey the law that says we should obey the law.

This is unacceptable.

For a variety of reasons, the language of your e-mail should be very close to what I have below. These Georgia elected officials must get the polite and respectful message many times before Tuesday at 1PM Eastern.

Please help us? It took me less than 10 minutes to paste and send the e-mails. If they decline to pass out this bill, it is likely that the well funded illegal alien lobby will do what they could not do in 2006: Effectively defeat GSICA by making it null and void. Most local governments in Georgia have made their agenda clear: Defy federal and state law, reward illegals who escape apprehension by brave Border Patrol Agents with business licenses and benefits to satisfy the local illegal employers and the crazies in the radical ethnic lobby.

Imagine the outrage if it were the laws that benefit illegals like education, health care and translation that were being ignored!

Your opposition here will be surprising to some of you: the Association County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG), the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA), and MALDEF and GALEO and the ACLU…all on the same side against compliance for various reasons. ALL OF THESE GROUPS WILL HAVE LOBBYISTS AT THE COMMITTEE MEETING OPPOSING US. It is their busine$$!

This is going on all over the nation, not just here in Georgia.

Each one of your e-mails will make a difference…honest. Our newest DIS board member, Ms. Inger Eberhart, and I will be in committeee Tuesday to testify if they allow public comment. THANK YOU IF YOU CAN HELP US!!!!

Suggested language of your e-mail below. PLEASE – Just copy, paste and include your name – where you live is not the issue here as this will effect the entire nation.

“Dear Representative: I watch with great dismay as local governments ignore the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act (GSICA) designed to save jobs, businesses and benefits for citizens of Georgia. I vote and my friends and family vote. I am also watching to see that HB 2 is passed out of committee and passed into law.

In these desperate economic times when our services are being cut back and Americans are increasingly unemployed, I note that we are now considering a law that says we should obey the law passed in 2006 …which says we should obey federal immigration law.

I respectfully insist that the madness stop here and now. Please vote “YES – DO PASS” on simple language in HB 2 to penalize local governments who have been laughing at you and the law for three years now. The GSICA law is in place – there is no need to revise it at this time, but it MUST be enforced!”

Thank you,
A citizen who has had more than enough of illegal immigration, illegal employment and local government violation of the rule of law which I must obey.
—————NAME

I know that I am asking a lot, but we are working very hard here and it gets very tiring to testify in committee against the same well funded creatures who will say and do anything to defend illegal aliens. Please send the e-mail to all of the below legislators. If you have time, please call their offices as well. Start now, they have voice mail and will get the message Monday AM.

If you get tired, remember that Border Patrol Agents are on duty and risking their lives right now! Remember that Billy and Kathy Inman will never see their only son –Dustin -again.

We need your help…PLEASE.( for those with limited time, the names with the * asterisks are most important.) dak

THE DUSTIN INMAN SOCIETY WELCOMES MS. INGER EBERHART TO ITS BOARD

Today, the Dustin Inman Society officially announces the addition of Ms. Inger Eberhart of Acworth, Georgia to its Board of Advisors.

Ms Eberhart has proven to be an aware and able voice in support of secure American borders and the equal application of American law – including immigration law – which describes the agenda of the nearly four-year-old Dustin Inman Society. “We think it is a great match” said a smiling D.A. King, president of the Dustin Inman Society.

Her efficient technical expertise, research and advice have proven invaluable to DIS operations. She also has proven to be an incredible asset to the Dustin Inman Society with her tireless work in sending well-written and informative letters and guest columns to many newspaper editors.

Fond of quoting the late Barbara Jordan on illegal immigration remedies, Inger’s courage and professionalism in articulating reasoned and accurate presentations to various local governments on the illegal immigration and employment has been a great asset. A long time DIS supporter, in addition to her new position on the Board of Advisors, Inger will soon begin to serve as a serve as a pro bono publico lobbyist for our non-profit organization in the Georgia Capitol.

Inger was originally introduced and kind enough to make some short remarks to an assembly of media and elected officials at a recent Dustin Inman Society press conference under the Gold Dome. Because we regard her comments important and worthy of sharing, we link them HERE .

Inger is a Georgia resident and an Atlanta native with a BS in Psychology from GA State University and an MBA from Shorter College. She has worked in Fortune 500, Fortune 100, and small businesses with increasing levels of responsibility. She holds positions of leadership in the Republican National Committee, GA Federation of Republican Women, Cobb County Republican Women’s Club, and GA Black Republican Council. She is also a board member of the Atlanta Film Festival and the GA Budget & Policy Institute.

She is a member of One Heart Church and serves as the producer/director of the sermons and various film productions. “We are fortunate to have her support and assistance” said King.

Eberhart joins the current members of the Board of Advisors: Billy & Kathy Inman, Fred Elbel, Francisco Jorge, Lupe Moreno and Everett Robinson. She is the first addition to the board since the inception of the Dustin Inman Society

Like every other in the Dustin Imman Society, the position is uncompensated.

Named for a sixteen year-old Woodstock, Georgia youth who lost his life to illegal immigration, the Dustin Inman Society is opposed to illegal immigration, illegal employment and open borders.

Gravesite vigil this evening to honor Dustin Inman

Posted by D.A. King at 12:00 pm - Email the author   Print This Post Print This Post

Important news and a request from Billy Inman:
Billy has organized a vigil this evening to remember the death of his and Kathy’s only son, Dustin. Dustin was killed in a car wreck Father’s Day weekend, 2000 when an illegal alien ran into the back of the Inman family car. More information here.
The Inman family has asked that all who are able to honor Dustin’s memory gather tonight at 7:00PM at Rolling Hills Cemetery, 4355 Highway 92, ( Hwy 92& Woodstock Rd) Acworth Georgia.

Dustin’s mom, Kathy sustained massive spinal injuries in the wreck that killed her son, and I understand that her condition is worsening and she is not doing well these days. I hope that many of you can join the Inman’s for a short event this evening.

I hope to see you there.

VIDEO…Georgia Sheriff uses authority to enforce immigration laws: Parents of Dustin Inman speak out

Posted by D.A. King at 4:45 pm - Email the author   Print This Post Print This Post

VIDEO!

In July, Neil Warren, the Sheriff of Cobb County, Georgia began using his authority to assist ICE to enforce American immigration laws. The results have been easy to see…enforcement works!

Doing so has accomplished several things: Illegals are being deported from Cobb County. Illegals are being told “don’t drive in Cobb County” – by the local illegal alien lobby. The many who make their living from the illegals and promoting continued illegal immigration are not happy campers, because illegals are moving out of Cobb County.

Families that have had loved ones killed by illegal aliens are finally getting some of the attention that has until now been saved for the “victimized” illegal aliens.

Please watch the video and see Billy and Kathy Inman and Ken Shackleford on what it is like to lose loved ones to our intentionally unsecured borders.

Here is a four minute video from WSB TV, an Atlanta station, on the human costs of illegal immigration and what one brave Georgia sheriff is doing to protect Americans in his county.

Sheriff Neil Warren is an American hero and we are very grateful to him for taking advantage of the 11 year old federal tool, 287 g, to make our county very inhospitable to illegal aliens.

Bonus…Jerry Gonzlaez – head of the Jane Fonda funded local open borders lobby – is on the end of this video whining about the illegals actually meeting American law enforcement.

We are proving something very elementary: ENFORCEMENT WORKS!

PLEASE pass this on! WATCH the 4 min VIDEO HERE.

Suspect in death of Dustin Inman to be released again

Posted by D.A. King at 11:03 pm - Email the author   Print This Post Print This Post

Man arrested twice released

By Ashley Fuller
Cherokee Tribune Staff Writer

The man arrested twice in connection with the death of a southwest Cherokee teenager will be released as officials have learned he is the suspect’s brother.

On June 16, 2000, a car driven by Gonzalo Harrell-Gonzalez struck a Pontiac carrying Billy and Kathy Inman of southwest Cherokee and their 16-year-old son, Dustin, at a red light in Gilmer County.

Dustin was killed in the accident. Both Billy and Kathy were knocked unconscious as a result of the impact and Kathy suffered injuries that require her to use a wheelchair.

Harrell-Gonzalez, who allegedly admitted to police he fell asleep behind the wheel, was taken to an Ellijay hospital and then was transferred to a hospital in Dalton. He disappeared after being mistakenly released from the hospital and police thought he fled to Mexico or his father’s home in Birmingham.

According to the Gilmer County Sheriff’s Office, the man police believed to be Harrell-Gonzalez was first arrested last September in Birmingham. He later was released after showing a magistrate court judge evidence alleging he was not Gonzalo, but his brother, Roberto.

The sheriff’s office obtained X-rays from the North Georgia Medical Center where Gonzalo was treated after the accident and asked the Birmingham police to arrest the same man again. He was arrested last October as police said their review of dental records determined he was Gonzalo.

Investigators since have met with dental experts from Birmingham and Alabama for a complete dental history. They found differences in the dental X-rays of Gonzalo and the man in jail who claims he is Roberto.

Appalachian Judicial Circuit District Attorney Joe Hendricks, in a motion filed Wednesday, asks that Roberto be released subject to any holds by other agencies.
Due to evidence and Roberto’s conduct, Hendricks in the motion said he believes Roberto knows where Gonzalo is. He has ordered Roberto to appear before the Gilmer grand jury in October to testify about his knowledge of Gonzalo’s whereabouts.

Inman, who has dedicated his life to catching Gonzalo and illegal immigration reform, said he is “dumbfounded” by what has happened.

“It took forever to get him,” he said. “I want the right one and I felt that I had the right one.”

The Dustin Inman Society joins in the National Protest Day January 7, 2005

Because D.A. King had to be out of town for a speaking engagement, Billy and Kathy Inman – Dustin’s parents – and other members and friends of The Dustin Inman Society, including Georgians for Immigration Reduction [GIR], organized our [planned at the last minute]effort to support the National Day of Protest against illegal immigration and the criminal employment of illegal labor on a corner here in Marietta, directly in front of one of the largest black market labor pick-up sites in the area.

The SE corner of Powder Springs and Sandtown Roads, Marietta, Georgia.

Our group totaled about 20 Americans waving signs and banners demanding that existing laws be enforced and our borders be secured on a very cold North Georgia morning. We received good news coverage, including repeating all -day, top of the hour radio taped reporting from the Atlanta metro area’s largest radio station [ thank you WSB radio! ]

The local Fox TV affiliate spent considerable time taping our event. While that station did run a segment on its 6:00 news Saturday, we are all puzzled as to why the editors chose to present a short shot that showed only 4 of the 20 fed -up Americans who were present to the viewer.

The 6th largest newspaper in the nation, the Atlanta Journal Constitution, did not cover our protest – again – despite having been sent a press release. [ Note from D.A; … the AJC supports amnesty and is very clear on their agenda of support for illegal aliens in the U.S and Georgia.]

Our group of Americans was shouted at and demeaned by what were likely illegal aliens and their supporters – counter protesters who seemed upset and displayed that ever dependable standby symbol of illegal immigration and open borders… a very large Mexican flag.

A local Spanish language radio station “QUE BUENA” sent a crew out well after our start time to incite the permit lacking illegal alien-supporting demonstrators across the street. To them, we send a hearty VIVA LA MIGRA! – VIVA REPATRIATION!

Marietta police on the scene found it necessaryto intervene several times with the un-American illegal alien supporting counter protesters. Thanks to MPD!

In short, while we had excellent response from passers by [several stopped and joined our group] the illegal aliens were pretty much business as usual in their lack of respect for American law and Americans who demand that it be enforced.

We are happy to report; There was a very definite and noticeable drop in the number of criminal contractors picking up illegal alien labor!! A great success! We will be back soon!

Thanks to all who took time out of their Saturday on last minute notice to make their voices heard. More of the same very soon!
dak……Marietta, Occupied Georgiafornia [ See photos of counter protesters [ scroll down] here]

Below is another account from J.R. of GIR on the day’s activity.

Yesterdayšs protest demonstration was a success. You may have seen us on Fox
5 news or heard about it on WSB radio. About 15 people were there, although
I think the TV news clip made it look like a smaller number.

When we arrived at 9:45, there were guys all over the strip mall parking
lot, standing around and apparently waiting for employers to pick them up.
When they saw what we were doing, most of them left for other locations.
About an hour later, there were only a few still left there.

Although a few motorists flipped us off, lots of people gave us the
thumbs-up sign or honked. I was surprised by the number of people who came
up to us and asked about our groups, wanting contact information.

After about an hour, a couple of guys who had left the parking lot behind us
decided to set up their own counter-protest across the street. One of them
held up a sign which said, ÂłA day without Mexicans…your life is worthless²
or something very close to that. Some more people joined the pro-illegal
demonstration, and a some of them brought a large Mexican flag and held it
up. We figured that was good publicity for our side: people holding up the
flag of Mexico and telling us that they were moving in and taking over!
Shortly thereafter, the Spanish-language radio station Que Buena sent 2 vans
to join the illegals in their protest, and we figured that the radio station
was calling for recruits, since more people kept arriving.

Paper off base in description of Dustin Inman Society that supports enforcement of immigration laws

{child_byline}By D.a. King{/Child_byline}

DEAR EDITOR: In coverage of a public panel discussion on the 287(g) program in Gwinnett in which I participated “Sparks fly at meeting on Gwinnett jail immigration program) the Daily Post added in the fact that the discredited Southern Poverty Law Center has listed the Dustin Inman Society as an “anti-immigrant hate group.”

The Daily Post did not note that the SPLC made the decision for this false and hate-mongering categorization in the same time frame it began lobbying against legislation aimed at illegal immigration that we support in the Georgia Capitol, 15 years after we began our fight and after the SPLC told the Associated Press they disliked our activism in favor of that legislation. What a handy way to oppress political opposition.

For responsible news coverage, spreading the SPLC’s smears should come with information on their agenda and the fact that they are being sued by more than 60 groups for these false, but profitable, accusations of “hate.”

Georgia is home to more illegal aliens than green card holders and more than Arizona. Gwinnett County is the illegal home to about 72,000 victims of borders – about 8% of the total population.

We proudly support the 287(g) program, Sheriff Conway and the brave ICE Agents who risk their lives to fight the crime of illegal immigration. For people who cannot discern the difference between immigrants and illegal aliens, it is important to remember that real immigrants do not require amnesty and have no reason to fear enforcement.

Letters: Addressing the inaccuracies relayed during Gwinnett’s recent 287(g) meeting

By Sheriff Butch Conway Aug 10, 2019

The event was an opportunity to share our perspective about the 287(g) program, listen to the concerns of our community and dispel any misinformation residents of our community may have about this important program.

Our Public Information Officer represented our Office and a representative from I.C.E. spoke on their behalf. Commissioner Fosque required we provide a third panelist, so Mr. D.A. King was added to the discussion because of his thorough understanding and support of the 287(g) program, along with his experience in helping create immigration laws in Georgia. He participated as an independent subject matter expert, not an “official representative” of the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office.

Mr. King showed professionalism and restraint during the meeting, which sadly turned from the desired information-sharing forum to unfair and unwarranted name calling and misleading innuendo.

The loudest voices are heard until an educated voice speaks, so it’s imperative that we take every opportunity to fully explain the facts of this program to allow all Gwinnett residents to make an educated decision whether or not to support it.

Contrary to what you may have heard, this program has nothing to do with immigrants or checking immigrant status. It’s about criminals committing crimes in Gwinnett County. Our specially trained deputies can only screen arrestees for their immigration status after they are charged with a crime and brought to our jail.

It’s important to understand that law enforcement services are equally available to everyone in Gwinnett County, regardless of immigration status. Local law enforcement officers have no authority over anyone’s immigration status in our community, despite efforts by some to make law abiding people think otherwise. There is truly no reason for anyone to fear this program, unless they’re committing crimes in our community as illegal aliens.

I strongly believe the 287(g) program improves public safety by serving as a deterrent to criminal illegal aliens and ensuring they are not returned to our community when they’re released from jail or prison. It also saves taxpayer dollars by keeping our average daily jail population down. This program is not about politics. It’s about utilizing every tool at our disposal to serve the citizens of Gwinnett County, which I am sworn to do.

I’m disappointed we were unable to come together as a community to share differing opinions in a civil manner. The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office and every deputy under my command will continue to serve and protect everyone in this county professionally and within the constitution we are sworn to uphold.

— Gwinnett County Sheriff Butch Conway

All Hispanics are not opposed to immigration enforcement

August 10, 2019

My name is Maria Silvia Montoya and I am a proud American Latina and board member of The Dustin Inman Society. I have recently returned to Texas from Georgia, but continue to monitor Georgia politics and immigration issues there.

D.A. King, a personal friend and founder of The Dustin Inman Society, has been committed for many years to fairness and helping people understand the truth about immigration and the law.

What makes people uncomfortable is that he correctly points out that Georgia has more illegal immigrants than Arizona; and more illegals than green card holders. I am outraged that, currently, speaking the truth and insisting that existing laws be enforced makes you a “racist” to some people.

I am also repulsed by the idea that news organizations continue to give credence to the SPLC as a reliable arbiter of extremism and “hate”. The Anti Defamation League has criticized the SPLC for faking a “hate group” crisis; and the SPLC has been reprimanded by the DOJ for “unprofessional and frivolous behavior in immigration court proceedings”.

A smear on The Dustin Inman Society is a smear on me and I take this very personally.

The Dustin Inman Society was formed to never forget Dustin Inman, a sixteen-year-old American boy killed by an illegal alien in a senseless traffic accident. Dustin’s parents, Kathy and Billy, were knocked unconscious and missed their only child’s funeral, and just recently, Billy Inman died. Kathy remains in a wheelchair. To this day Gonzalo Harrell-Gonzalez, the illegal alien who killed Dustin remains a fugitive and justice has not been served for this horrible family tragedy.

The Dustin Inman Society continues to fight for justice for victims of illegal immigration crime through legislation and the enforcement of existing laws. Like D.A. said, “nobody is anti-immigration at the Dustin Inman Society” and nobody is anti-Hispanic, including this proud Latina. I pray your coverage of this issue and the Dustin Inman Society is much more accurate and balanced in the future.

Sheriff Butch Conway deserves praise, not condemnation

Duluth Councilman Kirkland Carden recently condemned Sheriff Butch Conway for including D.A. King, president of the Dustin Society, as a panelist in a recent meeting regarding the Gwinnett County jail’s 287(g) program (“Duluth councilman calls for condemnation of sheriff,” Aug. 4, A1.)

This federal/county joint program simply identifies the immigration status of criminals already housed in the Gwinnett jail.

Carden called King “a bigot” simply because King opposes the massive illegal immigration abuses of our country. I have met Mr. King on several occasions in the past and consider him to be knowledgeable and concerned, but certainly not a bigot.

I find it ludicrous that this article claimed the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) lists the Dustin Inman Society as an “anti-immigration hate group.” The SPLC has received a grade of “F” from Charity Watch, has been de-listed by the FBI as a reliable information source and has been widely called “essentially a fraud.”

I applaud the efforts by Sheriff Butch Conway for having a diverse panel and applaud D.A. King for his valuable advice and information. I criticize Duluth councilman Kirkland Carden for his own bigotry, and would only wish that he would stop protecting criminal illegal aliens and put the legal residents and citizens before his narrow, selfish political goals.

D.A. King in the Atlanta Journal Constitution: Expand local immigration enforcement efforts, funding

Expand local immigration enforcement efforts, funding

D.A. King

In 2000, illegal alien Gonzalo Harrell-Gonzalez had multiple contacts with various local law enforcement agencies for traffic violations but was allowed to go on his way each time. On Father’s Day weekend that year, Billy Inman’s Woodstock family was permanently separated when Harrell-Gonzalez’s speeding car crashed into the rear of Inman’s vehicle stopped at a red light. Sixteen year-old Dustin died instantly. His mom Kathy suffered permanent and severe brain injury that put her in a wheelchair for the rest of her life.

Literally thousands of American families have suffered separations at the hands of illegal aliens.

WSB News,

I am a friend of D.A. King and have been a neighbor of his for the last thirty-five years here in Marietta. I have learned that you have passed on an absurd Southern Poverty Law Center “report” that D.A.’s non-profit group is somehow a ‘hate group” and attacks immigrants. Passing on false and slanderous attacks from the SPLC is no way to run a news outlet.

As a black American, I am disgusted with the SPLC’s endless race baiting and their shameless attacks on honest, patriotic Americans like us who want secure borders and to see our immigration laws enforced. I have been on the board of advisors of the Dustin Inman Society since its creation in 2005 and am proud to see D.A. fight against illegal immigration. I am amazed to learn that you never even interviewed D.A. King before you spread the SPLC smear.

It seems that you may be working on the same agenda as the SPLC.
