State Passes Tough, Sensible Illegal Immigration Laws to Protect Arizonans

April 15, 2010

(Washington, D.C.) After decades of failure by the federal government to properly secure the border, Arizona lawmakers, led by State Senator Russell Pearce, have once again responded to their constituents who want immigration enforcement. By a vote of 35-21, the State House passed Arizona SB 1070 “Support Our Law Enforcement and Safe Neighborhood Act.” Already passed by the Senate, the bill is now on its way to an expected signature from Governor Jan Brewer.

“It’s no surprise that the State of Arizona, one of the hardest hit by illegal immigration, now has one of the toughest laws,” said Dan Stein, President of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR). “SB 1070 is a no-nonsense, common-sense example of a state acting where the federal government is failing, a reaction to the inaction in Washington. There is a leadership vacuum on this issue. Arizonans and their lawmakers like Senator Russell Pearce are filling it.”

SB 1070 grants Arizona law enforcement the authority to inquire about immigration status, and to act on it. The new law will make it a state misdemeanor to fail to comply with federal law requiring that foreign nationals register and carry their documents with them. It also requires Arizona police officers, if they have a “reasonable suspicion” that someone is an illegal immigrant during a lawful stop, to determine that person’s immigration status and authorizes them to transfer verified illegal aliens into federal custody. SB 1070 also prohibits state and local agencies from adopting “sanctuary” polices that prohibit police from inquiring about immigration status.

“SB1070 embodies the concept of ‘attrition through enforcement,’” continued Stein, “Making it tough for illegal aliens to live and work in Arizona means that those illegal aliens already living in the state are more likely to self-deport, and it certainly reduces the incentive to come. Arizona will soon have a law that both represents the interests of legal Arizonians and serves as model legislation for other states.”

FAIR’s legal affiliate, the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) assisted Senator Pearce in drafting the language of SB1070. IRLI, the nation’s leader in developing immigration enforcement legislation at the state level, has counseled lawmakers across the country on every innovative approach in the field of cooperative state immigration enforcement law since 2001.

Founded in 1979, FAIR is the country’s largest immigration reform group. With over 250,000 members nationwide, FAIR fights for immigration policies that serve national interests, not special interests. FAIR believes that immigration reform must enhance national security, improve the economy, protect jobs, preserve our environment, and establish a rule of law that is recognized and enforced.

On amnesty, 44 percent of Hispanic voters opposed it, 33 percent strongly

NRO The Corner

Minority Voters on Immigration [Mark Krikorian]

Ever wonder what actual Hispanic voters think about immigration, rather than the ethnic activists and campaign consultants that too many gullible Republicans rely on? Well, a new Center for Immigration Studies poll asked them, and the results are not what you’d think.

The poll of Hispanic, black, and Asian voters used neutral language (no “illegal aliens” or “amnesty” or “undocumented”) and found that the majority of each group thought overall immigration was too high and favored attrition through enforcement over amnesty. (See the full questions and results here.) It’s true, as pro-amnesty groups never tire of pointing out, that there is indeed some support for amnesty; about half of each group (as well as likely voters overall) say they favor legalization, when offered that as a stand-alone choice. But huge majorities of the very same people favor enforcement, when it was offered by itself, something the pro-amnesty polls don’t bother to do. And when asked to choose between the two, majorities of each group favored enforcement; Hispanics by 18 points, blacks by 20 points, and Asians by 28 points.

In the stand-alone question on amnesty, 44 percent of Hispanic voters opposed it, 33 percent strongly. Those are the GOP’s voters, and backing amnesty is just going to dispirit them without gaining much of anything in return.

On CNN, Rick Sanchez, the race-baiting SPLC /La Raza coalition, Wall St. and the coming corporate funded amnesty-again attempt: An open letter to CNN’s John King

Posted by D.A. King at 2:31 pm - Email the author   Print This Post Print This Post

To: Mr. John King, CNN

I understand that you are doing a series of broadcasts on “Latinos” and “immigration”.

Some unsolicited insight:

“Immigrants” – like my adopted sister – by definition, join the American family lawfully, already enjoy a path to citizenship and do not require amnesty.

The same cannot be said for illegal aliens. This applies even to Hispanics.

We have nothing to apologize for when it comes to “immigration” as we as a nation take in more than one million immigrants a year from all over the world. More than any nation on the planet. Another two million or so “guest workers” many of whom scream “you can’t make me leave, I have an American born child and I like it here” !

Illegal immigration is slowing and illegals are leaving the U.S. because of increased enforcement, and the loss of job opportunities – exactly as those of us who fight that crime said would happen with the concept of “attrition through enforcement“.

We are proving that local enforcement works as a deterrent to illegal immigration – and the illegal alien lobby is howling.

The shameful presentation that Americans who demand secure borders and an equal application of the law are somehow “anti-Latino” or “anti-immigrant” is perpetuated by people who cannot find a reasonable argument for allowing everyone on the planet – or in Latin America – to come live in the USA. And because they have created a thriving business advocating for criminals.

The goal of the coaltion of the radical left and Wall St. is really open borders.

Here in the metro Atlanta area, we are nearly out of water, and there was talk three or four years ago of making I-75 twenty three lanes wide near my home. That will eventually happen. English has become an optional language in the American south and the flag of Mexico flies everywhere. Low skilled wages have been steadily declining for years.

Americans who cannot speak Spanish are being denied jobs for that reason in Georgia.

We are bailing out the banksters who illegally made mortgage loans to illegal aliens using Mexican ID.

We as a nation have the right to decide how many people we want to live in our republic and we certainly have the right to demand that our immigration and employment laws are enforced. Those of us who insist that criminal employers who draw the migrating wage-thieves here be punished are in the majority of the ever increasing number of aware and angry American people.

Sadly, the people with the courage to say exactly that are branded “racist” ( what race is illegal?) and “haters” by the race-baiting far left like MALDEF, La Raza, LULAC and that perpetual fund raising machine disguised as a law firm, the SPLC. That fact is either ignored or helped along and perpetuated by many in the MSM. The rocket scientist Rick Sanchez of CNN leaps to mind. I watched in November as he literally had an SPLC critter (Mark Potok) spew his usual hate mongering and name calling from a telephone on the air.

Sanchez literally had him phone it in!

My cat could easily defeat Sanchez (or Potok) in a debate. Having done many live CNN/FOX News hits, although I have a face for radio, I would happily paint the house belonging to any CNN producer who would get me on his show in place of my feline to expose his mindless open borders ethnic oriented agenda.

Mexico uses its military to try to secure its own borders and deports nearly as many people each year as we do….virtually all of whom are Hispanics.

Radical xenophobes and haters….si?

Most Americans don’t give a hoot about where a real immigrant comes from. But we do insist that they become assimilated and adopt to the American culture and language.

That ideal is not un-American.

We also understand that legalization – by any name – does not result in secured American borders, enforced employment laws or an end to illegal immigration. We proved that with the “one-time amnesty” of 1986. We will not forget the lesson.

Instead of the reported sixty “Latino leaders”, Obama would do well to schedule meetings with mainstream Americans who study immigration and the law. We know more about the issue than he does and we want what is best for the nation – not for special interest groups using ethnicity and skin color as victimhood and a basis for special treatment.

Obama would also do well to heed the advice of the late Barbara Jordan, the first black woman elected to congress and the Bill Clinton appointed head of his Commission on Immigration Reform from the 90’s. From Jordan in 1995: ” To gain credibility on immigration policy: “Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave — deportation is crucial.”

On the criminal employers who lure illegals into our republic, Jordan recommended mandatory electronic verification of legal employment eligibility. “Employer sanctions can work,” she said.

Fortunately for Jordan, a 1994 Presidential Medal of Freedom award winner, 21st century ethnic hustlers, biased journalists with a clear agenda like Sanchez and Wall St. scammers in search of even more taxpayer subsidized “cheap labor’ weren’t there to attack her “extremism.” Si?

Heads up – the coming corporate funded attempt to repeat the amnesty of 1986 will be met with more defiant popular grass-roots resistance that the media – or the Congress – can ever imagine and the price of it passing would be a forever divided “new-America” that will simply become part of the envisioned “North American Community” dedicated to redistribution of the wealth, socialism and increased profit for those who are more equal in the disgusting barnyard of 21st century American politics.

Please pass this on to the suits at CNN HQ who may think they are fooling all of the people all of the time. And Sanchez.

Respectfully,

BORDER SECURITY ACTIVIST D.A. KING CHALLENGES POSSIBLE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE BOB BARR TO DEBATE ON IMMIGRATION.

Dustin Inman Society president D.A. King today challenges possible Libertarian presidential candidate and former Republican Congressman Bob Barr to publicly debate and defend his – and the Libertarian Party’s – position on American borders and immigration policy.

During an April 8, 2008 interview on the nationally syndicated Neal Boortz radio show, ( listen here thanks to Mr. Jim Galloway and the AJC, Political Insider blog HERE ) Barr outlined his agenda of a possible repeat of the failed 1986 legalization program for illegal aliens. It is a policy of the official and lawful — but apparently numerically unlimited — free flow of people into the U.S., and an unexplained and unlikely process by which, in Barr’s words, “we would know who is entering our country” with such legalization.

“Robert Pastor of the Council on Foreign Relations cites polls showing us that at least 70% of the Mexican citizens who remain in Mexico would migrate to the U.S. if allowed. Considering the present convoluted interpretation of the 14th amendment to the U.S. Constitution regarding birthright citizenship, Barr’s frightening lack of vision of the consequences of his utopian open borders agenda is dangerous,” said King. “The concept of American citizenship could easily be cheapened and expanded to the entire continent in one generation with such a policy.”

“Unlike the other political parties, and candidates, I have to admire the Libertarian party and Mr. Barr for their honesty in admitting to the open borders agenda,” King remarked.

King will agree to meet Barr any time or place he and the Libertarians deem suitable to present their platform and ideas on securing American borders and defending American sovereignty and controlling population levels for a sustainable Republic.

The Dustin Inman Society strongly supports the as yet untried concept of securing American borders – at any price – and the vigorous enforcement of the rule of law in the work place – to begin to solve the decades-old immigration crisis. (Attrition through enforcement)

King is also CEO and co-founder of Americans for Sovereignty (www.AmericanSov.org), formed to educate the public on open borders and the EU –like integrated North American Community concept being presented by many in the governments and media of the U.S. Canada and Mexico.

Dustin Inman Society rally tonight in Atlanta NO TO LEGALIZATION FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS! NO TO AMNESTY FOR CRIMINAL EMPLOYERS! NO TO McCAIN/KENNEDY # FOUR!

Posted by D.A. King at 2:27 pm - Email the author   Print This Post Print This Post

WE PROVED AMNESTY/LEGALIZATION DOES NOT STOP ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION IN 1986

Dustin Inman Society rally this evening! NO TO AMNESTY-AGAIN!

All: We are protesting the 2005, 2006, 2007 and the sure to come 2009 or 2010 McCain/Kennedy legalization legislation and reward for illegal aliens – and amnesty for their campaign donating criminal employers.

We support the rule of law and its equal application!

We support the concept of attrition of the illegal population through enforcement of existing laws. The illegal immigration crisis will take years to fix, just as it did to occur. It did not happen overnight and cannot be solved overnight. Legalization does not stop illegal immigration or illegal employment.
NO MORE AMNESTY! Attrition through enforcement HERE.

WE HAVE NO OTHER AGENDA! If you do, please stay home.

For the last three years, we have rallied, e-mailed, called about and been successful in stopping the big money elite led by Teddy Kennedy and John McCain from passing another legalization bill (amnesty) for illegal aliens. See photos of our past efforts HERE.

No matter who is elected president, we will have to fight more attempts to open our borders with amnesty as the first step. Today we have a chance to respectfully show our opposition to the GOP money and McCain himself, along with the world’s media.

We hold a permit/ letter from Atlanta Police and the Atlanta Mayor’s office to peaceably assemble in front of the Westin Buckhead Hotel – Peachtree Rd. NE, Atlanta, Ga. (Lennox Mall – this is NOT downtown!) beginning at 5:30 – 7:30. Please come and support our effort to send a message to Senator McCain that legalization is far from the agenda of the base voters he needs to win the election. Please come let the open borders lobby see that we are not going away. More details here. If you need directions pls use Mapquest

IF you come: I HAVE GIVEN MY WORD THAT WE WILL BE PEACEFUL, RESPECTFUL AND WILL NOT BE ON PRIVATE PROPERTY. WE WILL USE THE PUBLIC SIDEWALK TO DISPLAY THE PLACARDS THAT I WILL BRING. Please DO NOT BLOCK THE SIDEWALK FOR PEDESTRIANS. DO NOT BRING ANY SIGNS OR BANNERS! DO NOT BRING ANY MEGAPHONES, STICKS POLES OR SOUND EQUIPMENT. I HAVE ALL NEEDED SIGNS WITH THE MESSAGE WE WILL PROJECT. IF ANYONE FROM THE OPEN BORDERS LOBBY IS THERE SMILE AND WAVE!!!

ANYONE WITH AN AGENDA/ACTIONS DIFFERENT FROM THE ABOVE WILL BE REMOVED.

For those who cannot come to the rally today but want to send a message to the GOP and McCain campaign: contact that campaign here with a message “Dear Senator McCain: unless you promise to secure our borders and enforce our immigration and employment laws without a legalization process for illegals, I cannot vote for you in November…”

One more time: DO NOT BRING SIGNS OR BANNERS…I HAVE EVERYTHING WE NEED
I hope to see you there!

“In 1986, we proved that a path to citizenship for illegal aliens does not result in secure borders or put an end to illegal immigration – or illegal employment” said D.A. King, president of the Dustin Inman Society.

“It has been more than six years since the horror of 9/11 and people from all over the world continue to pour into the U.S. illegally every day because of the dictates of the business lobby” King said today. “The 3:00 AM homeland security crisis call to the White House has come many times. With the partnership of John McCain and Ted Kennedy, the Bush administration has answered it with “amnesty-again”. No one thinks a McCain administration would be any different.” he said.

The Dustin Inman Society strongly supports the as yet untried concept of securing American borders – at any price – and the vigorous enforcement of the rule of law in the work place to begin to solve the decades-old crisis. (Attrition through enforcement)

Named for one of the thousands of Americans who have paid the ultimate price for America’s unsecured borders and the resulting illegal immigration crisis, the Dustin Inman Society is a Georgia-based, non-partisan coalition of Americans opposed to unsecured borders, illegal immigration and illegal employment.

The rally, like the Dustin Inman Society, has no agenda other than secure borders and the equal application of American laws. No other agenda will be welcomed or tolerated.

AN OPEN LETTER TO GEORGIA CONGRESSMAN HANK JOHNSON ON HIS RESPONSE TO A VOTER ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION AND AMNESTY-AGAIN

Posted by D.A. King at 3:30 pm - Email the author   Print This Post Print This Post

My letter to Georgia Congressman Hank Johnson . A reader sent me a response letter from his office that just hit wrong today.
Johnson replaced Cynthia McKinney.

I hear he is somewhat smarter.

27 February 2008

Congressman Johnson,

Your form letter to a voter (below) on solutions to the organized crime of illegal immigration and employment brilliantly illustrates either your lack of awareness – or your unwillingness to face the facts. Either way, it proves that you sir, are part of the problem. If you feel better that much of Congress and the president are also part of the problem… don’t.

We have proven that legalization does not stop illegal immigration or illegal employment ( we had an amnesty in 1986 and several thereafter, please look it up).

Since the mid nineties, in San Diego, we have also proven that a fence works – that radical right winger Bill Clinton built a border fence there that stopped illegal immigration by a factor of about 90% and reduced crime on both sides of the border. Please have a staffer check this out as well.

Increasing immigration is national suicide. We are taking in far too many immigrants already. The prediction is that we will have a population of about 450 million in 2050 ( most Americans regard this as bad news Congressman).

Maybe you haven’t heard, at more than a million a year, we take in more immigration than any other nation on the planet. Here in Atlanta, we were running out of water long before the current drought. There are plans to make I-75 twenty- three lanes wide to accommodate the traffic we suffer with each day. Our children are being schooled in temporary buildings because we cannot keep up with the population boom caused mostly by immigration. Ask some of your voters around the district. Assimilation is not working so well in today’s America. English is an optional language and we are called names for saying that the rule of law should be applied equally.

As we were taught in the sixties.

No one who has read the constitution or bill of rights has been able to find a civil right to be an illegal alien or an illegal employer. We also can see that civil rights are for those pesky citizens. No one has found a loophole in the oath of office that you and all of our government officials have taken to obey the law and defend the constitution.

On the silly myth that it is impossible to deport illegals: Most of us can plainly see that if Mexico can move millions of illegal aliens into the U.S. – we can move them out ( like Mexico does with its own illegal aliens). There is no one -way valve on the border. I’ve been there many times.

It is not necessary to deport all of the illegal aliens. As various states are proving all over the nation, enforcement works. Where the law is being enforced, illegal aliens are leaving. The concept has a name: Attrition through enforcement. Ask a staffer.

You should go and speak to the Americans – of all descriptions – who live on our southern border about their life without security. Ask them about the fearless and murderous Mexican drug smugglers who control the border corridors. While you are there, ask the local sheriffs and Border Patrol Agents about apprehending illegal aliens from middle east countries which sponsor terrorism.

Ask them if they think there is a price that is “prohibitive” involved in securing America and ridding ourselves of the potential terrorists and the taxpayer subsidized black market labor that you protect for your campaign donors in the name of reason and lack of practicality.

We were attacked in 2001, please have a staffer look up “war on terror” and “securing the homeland”.

We already have a no cost federal system of verifying the eligibility of newly hired employees – it is called E-VERIFY. It works. Please have a staffer check this out. Or ask a corporate lobbyist at lunch about how this system became voluntary when implemented.

Ask an American military veteran who has been placed in VA category 8g about the no cost medical care he/she was promised as a recruit. These vets have been held up to a VA means test and have been told that they are not eligible for their promised free medical care. Ask them about their tax dollars going to pay for the medical care of the illegal aliens – no questions asked – you say we cannot deport.

Ask me. I am a fifty-five year -old category 8g vet.

I urge you to expand your talking points beyond the mindless pabulum provided by LaRaza/MALDEF and the rest of the un-American open borders coalition of corporate America and the far left.

YUCK Congressman.

Dear Ms. ****

Thank you for contacting me to express your concerns regarding illegal immigration. I welcome feedback from my constituents and appreciate your interest.

The Senate’s recent attempt to draft and pass comprehensive immigration reform revealed the contentious and complicated nature of the issue. Unfortunately, the defeat of the bipartisan proposal means the nation is no closer to resolving the immigration problem or improving immigration policy. That is why a compromise must be reached and comprehensive reform must be adopted.

First, the flow of illegal immigrants must be stopped. This can be achieved by training and deploying more agents to the border. Deporting the millions of unlawfully present immigrants is not a viable option; the identification, apprehension, and removal of millions of individuals is impractical, invasive, and prohibitively expensive.

Next, Congress must act to eradicate the backlog of immigrant applications to ensure legal avenues exist for individuals who desire to come to the U.S. for legitimate reasons. And we must also make available resources for companies to verify the immigration status of foreign workers so they can avoid hiring illegal employees. Preventing and prosecuting the hiring of undocumented workers without a national database to verify social security numbers makes law enforcement difficult if not impossible.

I know the immigration debate is far from over, yet a solution must be reached. As your congressman, I will work toward brokering a comprehensive solution to the immigration problem.

I am always eager to hear your concerns and look forward to working with you in the future. For more information, please visit my office online at HankJohnson.House.gov. Thank you again for contacting me.

Sincerely,

Hank Johnson

Immigration is bringing country down

To the Editor:

It’s probably politically incorrect, but don’t we have enough poverty in America now without having to import it?

Offered here are some facts that our mainstream media fail to report since they’re too busy keeping up with Britney.

The Washington-based Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) recently completed a report on the impact of immigration. Immigrants, both legal and illegal, now total 37.9 million people. This number, or 12.6 percent of the total population, or one person in eight, constitutes the highest percentage of foreign-born residents since the end of the previous great wave of immigration in the 1920s.

More immigrants arrived in the seven-year period between 2000 and 2007 (10.3 million) than during any other seven-year interval in U.S. history. Please notice most of this period is after our supposed wake-up call known as 9/11. Approximately one-third of the 37.9 million foreign-born are illegal aliens.

The poverty rate of immigrant-headed households and their U.S.-born children (17 percent) is almost 50 percent higher than that for natives and their children. Thirty-three percent of immigrant-headed households receive support from at least one welfare program, compared with 13 percent of native families.

Thirty-four percent of immigrants have no health insurance, compared with 13 percent of natives.

Aside from the above cited CIS report, it is said that for each child born to illegal immigrant households, it cost us, the taxpayers, $10,000 per year, every year for services rendered: education, medical etc.

That’s enough statistics for now. Suffice it to say, and it should be obvious, that America needs first-aid now, meaning “stop the bleeding first”.

We must immediately secure our borders- build the fence- and start enforcing laws that are already on the books. Does this mean rounding up millions of illegal aliens all at once?

No, it means “attrition through enforcement”- with equal application of the law to all citizens.

As much as my Christian values say to not turn away a stranger, they also do not say that we must flood America with poverty-stricken ignorant cultures- foreign to our forefather’s traditions. Sorry, but all cultures are not equal.

Christian values teach that we must love and be responsible for those closest to us first. We cannot expend finite resources on strangers to the detriment of those we hold close and dearest to us- our wives, children, parents, brothers and sisters, neighbors,

Yes, fellow U.S. legal citizens.

Question for President George W. Bush: How many illegal aliens do you currently have living in your White House bedroom?

What to do? Call your U.S. Representative. Call your Senators. Write a letter.

Why? Because you do not want it on your conscience that while your country went down the tubes, you stood by and did nothing.

Fred Thompson on false choices, the law and a reasonable solution to illegal immigration and employment

Posted by D.A. King at 3:28 pm - Email the author   Print This Post Print This Post

Holy Cow!

“Attrition through Enforcement.

Reduce the number of illegal aliens through increased enforcement against unauthorized alien workers and their employers. Without illegal employment opportunities available, fewer illegal aliens will attempt to enter the country, and many of those illegally in the country now likely will return home.

Self-deportation can also be maximized by stepping up the enforcement levels of other existing immigration laws. This course of action offers a reasonable alternative to the false choices currently proposed to deal with the 12 million or more aliens already in the U.S. illegally: either arrest and deport them all, or give them all amnesty. Attrition through enforcement is a more reasonable and achievable solution, but this approach requires additional resources for enforcement and border security:”

URGENT!!! Senate on verge of passing amnesty – unless WE stop it!

URGENT!!! THE PRESIDENT MAY HAVE CHANGED SOME MINDS ON HIS AMNESTY BILL!

Contact info for Georgia Senators here… keep the calls going!

The below from Roy Beck and NumbersUSA.com

Sens. McConnell & Lott on verge of passing amnesty — unless you get in their way

Friends,

I regret to tell you that our victory of last Thursday night has eroded to almost nothing by this morning.

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky and Senate Republican Whip Trent Lott of Mississippi have succeeded in twisting nearly enough GOP arms to assure Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.) that they can deliver the votes to pass his S. 1348 amnesty for 12-20 million illegal aliens.

Here is the pitch that McConnell and Lott are said to be using — and the pitch that only you can persuade Republican Senators to reject:

Lawmakers are being told that they must agree to vote for cloture ( end of debate) on the amnesty in exchange for a chance to have some favorite amendments brought up OR they will lose a chance to “sit at the table” in final fashioning of this bill.

A senior GOP leadership aide confirmed that anti-amnesty Republicans are being told by Party leadership that they “need to get on board if they want to remain relevant.”

NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU HAVE PHONED IN THE LAST MONTH, YOUR PHONE CALLS ARE DESPERATELY NEEDED TODAY.

CALL ALL SENATORS IN D.C.
202-224-3121

HOLD ONTO OUR DEMOCRATIC ANTI-AMNESTY VOTES

It is imperative that we hold onto at least 9 of the 12 Democratic and Independent NO votes we got last Thursday on the cloture vote.

Phone these offices and urge them not to be taken in by the Republican leadership’s pandering to Big Business lobbyists who are demanding to keep employing their 7-million-plus illegal workers and are demanding an amnesty for all the lawbreaking by the outlaw companies in the past.

Tell these Democrats that they are standing with the American workers on this and should be proud of their principled stand against Pres. Bush’s dream of globalizing the American labor force.

THE 12 NON-REPUBLICANS WHO VOTED AGAINST AMNESTY LAST WEEK
(* Up for re-election in 2008)

* Baucus (D-Mont.)
Bingaman (D-NM)
Boxer (D-Calif.)
Byrd (D-WV)
Dorgan (D-ND)
* Landrieu (D-La.)
McCaskill (D-Mo.)
* Pryor (D-Ark.)
* Rockefeller(D-WV)
Sanders (I-Vt.)
Tester (D-Mont.)
Webb (D-Va.)

TELL GOP SENATORS TO REFUSE ‘A SEAT AT THE TABLE’ AND TO REMAIN ‘RELEVANT’ BY PROTECTING THE WORKERS AND VOTERS OF THEIR STATE NO TO THE AMNESTY BILL!

Call their offices and tell them you have heard of the ‘take-it-or-leave-it’ deal they are being offered and that your advice is:

“Refuse a Seat at The Table If All They’re Serving Is Rancid Mush.”

Tell them that permanently legalizing 12-20 million illegal aliens and giving them permanent access to our jobs is a dish not worth fussing over. No amount of seasoning or ingredient changing can make this dish palatable to the voters of your state.

Any amendment that would truly protect Americans would be killed by the Bush/Kennedy coalition.

No matter how many amendments are allowed for votes, the end result bill will be terrible — maybe slightly less terrible than now, but still terrible. There is no point in trading away a YES vote on cloture for the chance to offer an amendment.

Yet more news media polls are being released purporting to show that the majority of the public supports this Senate amnesty bill. The big use of these polls by reporters and open-borders advocates is to supposedly prove that all of your phone calls are just a loud-mouthed minority.

The fact is that nearly all the media polls fail to offer people the choice of Attrition Through Enforcement.

When Americans are offered a choice between legalization, attrition or mass deportations, most Americans choose attrition. And an overhwelming portion choose either attrition or mass deportation.

PLEASE HELP US STOP THE BUSH KENNEDY AMNESTY!
