The illegal alien lobby can’t get story straight …again
Georgia State Representative David Casas [ R- Gwinnett] has written a column in the Gwinnett Daily Post on his views on Senator Chip Rogers’ bill SB 529 [ he supports it], illegal immigration and the people here in Georgia led by state Senator Sam Zamarripa who advocate for and profit from that crime.
Casas has been called “an enemy of the Latino community” by Atlanta’s former Mexican Consul General, Teodoro Maus.
Why? He has taken tha radical position that we should secure our borders and enforce our laws. The horror.
From his guest column in the Gwinnett Daily Post, March 22, 2006:
Maus and his friends are not defending some moral ground. Don’t be fooled by their rhetoric. The byes given to the Democratic Latino legislators, the silence of any criticism toward them by the Hispanic press and their continued hostility toward me (a conservative Republican) is indicative of only one thing — partisan politics is alive and well in the Hispanic community.
What Maus, his friends and their press would like you to believe is the entire Hispanic community is homogeneous in its thoughts and in its issues. They want you to believe all Latinos believe the laws of this country are motivated by racism and are unfair.
We know David Casas to be an honorable American and a fine man. We think considerably less of Zamarripa Inc. Read the entire column here and make up your own mind.
