ATLANTA – The American Civil Liberties Union in Georgia promised to sue if the General Assembly passes sweeping new legislation targeting illegal immigrants. Others say it’s a legal way to save millions of tax dollars and stop thousands of jobs that are going to people who have no legal right to be here.
An estimated 425,000 illegal immigrants live in Georgia, even have more than Arizona.
The FOX 5 I-Team got a public look at one of the bills aimed at reducing those numbers.
