Gwinnett Police arrest suspect in pedestrian hit and run death

NORCROSS, GA – Police have arrested 44-year-old Carlos Hernandez-Tecata for a pedestrian hit and run death on Sunday, August 7, officials said.

Gwinnett County Police officials said the pedestrian was struck on the south side of Norcross Tucker Road in Norcross. When they arrived, they located the female victim lying in the roadway.

According to investigators, Hernandez was arrested for driving without a license, felony hit and run, and felony vehicular homicide.
