OK, all you Atlanta-area, pro-American left-overs from the pre-Obama takeover of the Republic: FIELD TRIP ON SUNDAY!

A growing and multi-hued group of us are going to accept the invitation from Georgia’s third-largest university to attend their “tribute” to Dr. Martin Luther King on Sunday. They have invited Communist revolutionary and Black Power advocate Angela Davis as the keynote speaker.

REPEAT: Angela Davis will deliver the keynote address Jan. 18 at Kennesaw State University’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day observance.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution is promoting the event and says Davis is a “noted scholar” – so it must be worthwhile, right?

From the AJC: “The MLK observance, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Kennesaw State African-American Student Alliance. The tribute begins at 6 p.m. in the Dr. Bobbie Bailey and Family Performing Arts Center, 488 Prillaman Way.”
