The number of “other” official agencies that administer public benefits is unknown. Due to language in 2009, HB 2, all official agencies administering public benefits are required to file an official report with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs by January 1, 2011. Assuming there is 100% compliance with that mandate, it will be possible to create a list of all agencies that should be using the application affidavit and SAVE verification system for monitoring purposes.
