President Bush Discusses Western Hemisphere Policy

From his address to the Hispanic Chamber at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C. Monday, some selected quotes from the president:

Through the Overseas Private Investment Corporation , Bush has arranged for more than $100 million that is being used to help underwrite mortgages… to working families in Mexico and Brazil and Chile and the countries of Central America. The President is expanding the program: “Now we’re going to provide another $385 million to expand these programs and help put the dream of home ownership within the reach of thousands of more people in our neighborhood”.

Note from D.A – He is also allowing the American banking industry to open accounts, issue credit cards and make mortgage loans to illegal aliens here at home…in clear violation of existing American law.

Note from D.A. – Remember this: Remittances, money sent back “home” by foreign citizens (aliens, legal or not) from the U.S. to Mexico totaled $ 20 billion in 2005 and $23 billion last year.

$23 billion here, $ 23 billion there, pretty soon it adds up to real money taken out of the American economy – particularly when the American taxpayer is forced to foot the medical and education bill of the senders.

The Bush administration is working to cancel out debt by $4.8 billion! “That works out to about $110 for every man, woman and child …in Bolivia and Guyana and Haiti and Honduras and Nicaragua”. says the president.

Bush is using one of our Navy’s medical ships, the Comfort to provide health care to the poor and uninsured! Altogether, the Comfort’s doctors and nurses and health care professionals expect to treat 85,000 patients and conduct up to 15,000 surgeries. To quote the President of the United States: “These are people who need help. These are people who might not otherwise get the basic health care they need to realize a better tomorrow”. He is referring to people in Belize and Guatemala, and Panama, Nicaragua, and El Salvador, and Peru, and Ecuador, Colombia, Haiti, and Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, and Suriname.

The American President goes on: “Since I took office, we spent nearly $1 billion on health care programs in the region, all aimed at sending a message to the people of Latin America: We care for you”.

Note from D.A. – Wounded American veterans in Walter Reed Army Hospital (USA) hospital are living in filth with cockroaches, rats and mold. The message to American veterans seems clear enough.

Because of budgetary shortages, Veterans Administration regulations dictate that Category 8g vets (American vets) are held up to a means test and denied the free medical care they were promised as young recruits.

The Bush administration is not taking adequate care of American veterans. Maybe if they began to speak in Espanol…

Maybe this is the definition of “irony”? About six months after the American House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security released a report ( A Line in the Sand: Confronting the Threat at the Southwest Border – read the first 6 pages) outlining – in detail – the crisis on American borders involving organized smuggling of drugs and people while clearly stating that Mexican drug cartels control American borders, Bush boasts to the Hispanic Chamber that he has spent American taxpayer dollars training other nations in the fine art of combating drug dealers and human smugglers. “…In El Salvador, we opened one of our international law enforcement academies. The new academy is helping governments in the region build effective criminal justice systems, by training law enforcement officers to combat the drug lords and the terrorists and the criminal gangs and the human traffickers…”

The same House report says between four and ten million people crossed our borders illegally in 2005.

Forsyth Sheriff applies to ICE for immigration enforcement

CUMMING – Forsyth County Sheriff Ted Paxton announced Tuesday that he has applied to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to begin enforcement of immigration statutes.

That means Forsyth County deputies will soon be trained to perform immigration-related duties of suspected illegal aliens who are arrested and brought into the Forsyth County jail.

“The time has come where the Sheriff’s Office has got to be more proactive in addressing the issue of crimes being committed in our county by illegal aliens,” Sheriff Paxton said. “The Immigration and Nationality Act give us the authority to do just that,” he added.

Paxton added, “While immigration enforcement is primarily a federal issue, when illegal aliens commit crimes in our county then the issue becomes local and calls for swift, local response on our part. That is what is provided for in Section 287(g).”

Selected deputies will be trained by ICE and given the resources to determine if someone brought into the Forsyth County jail is in the country illegally. If the person is in the country illegally, the deputies will initiate the paperwork to start the deportation process. All of this is done under the supervision of an ICE agent. However, arrestees must serve their sentences before deportation occurs.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office joins a handful of other agencies across Georgia, and the nation, who are using the Immigration Act on a local basis.

“With costs estimated at $183 billion (£94 billion), the 1,200 ft wide road would consume one million acres in Texas alone. Construction could take up to 50 years.”

If it were built, the road would be one of the engineering wonders of the 21st century -a trade route a quarter of a mile wide, carving a path from Mexico through the heart of America to Canada.

In its most radical form, it would allow lorry drivers to travel hundreds of miles from the Mexican border deep into the US before reaching customs and immigration controls in Kansas.

Backers of the idea, labelled the “Nafta Superhighway”, after the North American trade pact, say it would revolutionise patterns of commerce across the continent and enhance the economic prospects of millions. But its critics say it could spell the end of US sovereignty. In arguments akin to those deployed by critics of the European Union, opponents say that opening borders will hit businesses, create a terrorist threat and allow illegal immigrants and drugs to flood in.

Opposition is strongest in Texas, where the state’s plans for a vast road project, known as the Trans-Texas Corridor, are well advanced. Once complete, the corridor could become the first leg of a Nafta Superhighway, crossing the Mexican border at the Rio Grande, near Laredo, and then pushing north to Kansas. It would include a toll road with 10 lorry and car lanes, a high-speed railway, and oil, gas and water pipelines.

Hank Gilbert, a rancher, said: “At the Battle of the Alamo people came from all over the US to fight for our sovereignty. The IRS is very clear that the ITIN is not to be used as valid ID.

NOTE! If your bank is accepting the matricula consular and the ITIN, it is intentionally seeking out illegal aliens as customers, is laundering illegally gotten funds, is encouraging illegal aliens to remain in the U.S and making millions in the process. Ask your bank about this soon.

Mexican matricula consular ID: Documenting illegal aliens

What is green and red, includes a photograph, is needed only by illegal aliens and is issued here in the United States – by a foreign government?

No idea? A hint – it’s a photo ID card.

More clues.

What is printed in Spanish is deemed to be a “criminal threat” and a “potential terror threat” to this country by the FBI Office of Intelligence – but is accepted by many American banks, hospitals and local and state governments?

More?

What has been labeled as an “un-reliable form of identification” by the Department of Justice, but can be used to board an airplane in America – during a war on terror?

Give up?

Answer: A Mexican matricula consular photo identification card. Don’t feel bad if you didn’t know the answer – most Americans haven’t a clue what a matricula consular is either. That is not an accident.

A brief history and some insight into the little-known matricula consular:

On Aug. 29, 2001, in a speech to both Houses of the U.S. Congress, President Vicente Fox of Mexico said the Mexicans who were here illegally at the time were “entitled to legalized status” and later demanded that President Bush “solve the problem before the year ends.”

Even before the horror of 9/11, public opinion worked against the impending amnesty – er – “guest-worker” proposal for the millions of illegal aliens already here.

Following 9/11 and because of the resulting now obvious Homeland Security issues, the plan to repeat the “one-time amnesty” of 1986 and “legalize” the millions of illegal aliens in the U.S. was taken off the table. Several other things however, did not change.

Here, the unrelenting demand from “willing employers” for taxpayer-subsidized labor continued – as did the craving of American banks for the highly profitable business of the enormous illegal alien market.

In Mexico, the demand for the billions of U. S. dollars sent home by the “migrants” – “remittances” (more than $16 billion last year, an estimated $20 billion this year) – also remained unchanged.

Remittances are now the single largest source of revenue for Mexico – larger than Pemex, the state-owned oil company, and foreign investment and tourism. ( Note from D.A. in 2007 – increased oil prices have now put oil revenues above remittances to Mexico…which came to $23 billion in 2006) Real, legal immigrants who have entered the United States according to American law have a valid visa, a passport – and access to a little detail called “Lawful Permanent Residency” (a “Green Card”.) All serve as valid identification.

Illegal aliens have none of these.

Shortly after 9/11, Mexico began what Marti Dinerstein of The Center for Immigration Studies describes as an “aggressive grassroots lobbying campaign to win acceptance for the matricula consular at the local and state level, especially in areas where large numbers of Mexicans resided.”

Like Georgia. The city of Atlanta began official acceptance last year.

The Mexican government, American business and the powerful open borders – illegal alien lobby (sorry, I repeat myself) is quick to point out that possession of the matricula consular does not reflect immigration status.

Indeed.

Make no mistake, issuing – and accepting – the matricula consular encourages and accommodates illegal immigration. Illegal immigration has actually increased since 9/11/2001.

Feel safer?

The campaign has been wildly successful – and profitable. According to the Mexico City newspaper El Universal, as of January of this year, 4.5 million Mexicans had these ID cards and they are accepted in 386 cities, 164 counties and 338 financial institutions in our republic.

What should logically represent probable cause instead becomes instant documentation and “stealth amnesty” for the previously “undocumented migrants.”

Mexico’s stated goal is to have issued 6 million matriculas by the end of this year.

Because of its ease of forgery and the lack of security – not to mention fingerprinting – involved in issuing the Mexican ID, it is not accepted by most banks in Mexico and may not be used to obtain the federally issued Mexican voter ID – or state issued Mexican driver’s licenses.

American police report that it is not uncommon to come across people in possession of multiple matricula consulars – all with different names.

Blockbuster Video does not accept the matricula consular to open an account to rent a DVD.

Ten states in the U.S. accept the matricula as valid ID to issue an American driver’s license, thereby eliminating the need for the matricula.

Handy, si?

Undocumented workers return after raid at Buckley

A roundup last year found dozens of illegal immigrants employed at a military building project, but some say they were quickly back on the job

Illegal immigrants say they were working on a military housing project outside Buckley Air Force Base within days after a major immigration raid there last year.
Immigration officials said at the time that they were protecting national security and sending a message to employers with the Sept. 20 raid, which nabbed more than 120 workers.

Most of the workers were from Mexico and were quickly deported. Others came from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. Three had outstanding criminal warrants and were turned over to Aurora police.

Julio Cesar Rodriguez, an illegal immigrant from Mexico, told the Rocky Mountain News he was back on the job a few days after the raid.
