News on child predators that no one wants you to hear

Operation Predator Nabs 6,000 Illegal Aliens

In the past two years, Operation Predator, an initiative of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement, has brought about the arrest of 6,085 child predators, 85 percent of whom were in the United States illegally.
Operation Predator is an effort by ICE to protect children from foreign national pedophiles, international sex tourists, Internet child pornographers and human traffickers. As a result of the operation, 2,100 of these foreign-born predators have been deported from the U.S.

When they are deported, ICE informs their home countries of the criminal histories of each predator. They also notify Interpol in cases where crimes have been committed in more than one country.

More? From the White House:
Fact Sheet: Operation Predator

Each year, millions of children fall prey to sexual predators. Experts estimate that one-in-five girls and one-in-ten boys in the United States are sexually exploited before they reach adulthood. These young victims are left with permanent psychological, physical, and emotional scars. That tragedy is compounded by the fact that child prostitution, human trafficking, child pornography, and international sex tourism now generate billions of dollars a year worldwide.

Seeking to reverse this trend and protect children worldwide, the Department of Homeland Security/U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) developed Operation Predator, an initiative to identify, investigate, and arrest child predators. Officially launched by Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge in July 2003, Operation Predator draws on ICE’s unique investigative and enforcement authorities to safeguard children from foreign national pedophiles, human traffickers, international sex tourists, and other predatory criminals.

Minuteman founder attacked by students…in America

Posted by D.A. King at 12:58 pm - Email the author   Print This Post Print This Post

Students stormed the stage at Columbia University’s Roone auditorium yesterday, knocking over chairs and tables and attacking Jim Gilchrist, the founder of the Minutemen, a group that patrols the border between America and Mexico.

Mr. Gilchrist and Marvin Stewart, another member of his group, were in the process of giving a speech at the invitation of the Columbia College Republicans. They were escorted off the stage unharmed and exited the auditorium by a back door.

Having wreaked havoc onstage, the students unrolled a banner that read, in both Arabic and English, “No one is ever illegal.” As security guards closed the curtains and began escorting people from the auditorium, the students jumped from the stage, pumping their fists, chanting victoriously, “Si se pudo, si se pudo,” Spanish for “Yes we could!”

Don’t fence me in: Mexico lashes border plan

October 6, 2006

MEXICO CITY: Mexico says it may go to the United Nations to challenge US plans to build hundreds of kilometres of fences on its southern border.

The Foreign Secretary, Luis Ernesto Derbez, said the plan was offensive.

Asked if he would take up the issue with the UN, a step some Mexican politicians have called for, Mr Derbez replied: “Without a doubt, we are examining, with the foreign relations legal team, what options are open at an international level and we will take them.”

The US President, George Bush, yesterday signed a homeland security funding bill that includes $US1.2 billion ($1.6 billion) for fencing along the US-Mexico border to stop illegal immigrants and criminals sneaking over.

The outgoing Mexican President, Vicente Fox, has called the plan “shameful” and compared it to the Berlin Wall. Mr Fox has spent his six-year term lobbying for a new guest worker program and an amnesty for Mexicans working illegally in the US.

More.

One must wonder here if it is “shameful” that Mexico secures its own border and that illegal immigration and employment are enforced felonies there. Hmmm…

Info on illegal alien march this weekend…and an offer for a free movie premier: Border War

Posted by D.A. King at 12:39 am - Email the author   Print This Post Print This Post

Two things: Illegal alien “march” on Saturday and free movie tickets for October 11.

Added info: See here for info on “march” on Sam Zamarripa’s Website. And here from the March 17 Alliance of illegal alien leaders. En Espanol!

1) We are getting a lot of e-mail asking if The Dustin Inman Society will be organizing a counter protest to the illegal aliens and their handlers “march” at the Georgia Capitol on Saturday, October 7, 2006.

Short answer: No, we are not.

The reason for staging a rally is to draw attention to our issue: Secure borders and equally applied laws…even immigration and employment laws. Throw in keeping the English language as the single language of the U.S. and you pretty much have our agenda.

Reasoning: The marches and boycotts this spring by the illegal alien/open borders lobby did more to wake up Americans who were not paying attention than almost anything else ever has. They are doing a fine job of sending their message, which is that illegal aliens have special rights, it is “unfair”, “un-American”, “mean-spirited”… or “racist” for the law to apply to illegals. And that American borders violate human-rights.

They will try to make it into an ethnic issue.

When your enemy is doing a terrific job of shooting himself in the foot, I think the best thing to do is to sit back and let him continue.

There will be a large number of illegals and those who encourage them – and profit from them – at the Capitol Saturday, led by many who are not American citizens. Teodoro Maus and Adelina Nichols being brilliant examples.

They are protesting the new Georgia law, the Georgia Immigration and Compliance Act , authored by Senator Chip Rogers, Governor Perdue’s recent SECUREID initiative and recent immigration and employment law enforcement actions by the feds.

We have decided to stay home and let them do our work for us. Any counter protest at the Capitol will not be a Dustin Inman Society event…BUT…we are planning one on October 24 to make county enforcement of immigration laws an issue…details soon.

2) On another note: There is going to be an Atlanta premiere of a very enlightening film “Border War” in Lawrenceville on Wednesday, October 11 at 7:00 PM.

I am told this is a “don’t miss” and plan on attending to make up my own mind.

We have twenty-five free tickets for two for the Wednesday showing. The first 25 people already on the DIS mailing list to contact me using the contact form on the Dustin Inman Society Website
to claim tickets can go and take someone to see the movie on our borders and the consequences of illegal immigration in our nation with free admittance. EACH TICKET IS GOOD FOR TWO PEOPLE…ONE TICKET PER PERSON ONLY PLEASE. Tickets can be claimed at the theatre for those who contact me.

These tickets will not last long, so if you want to go free, please respond quickly. I hope that many of you will attend – and bring a friend – free or not. The movie will also be shown on October 12. We have tickets for Wednesday’s event only.

Atlanta “Border War” Documentary
Premiere On Wednesday, October 11th at 7 p.m.
Screenings at AMC Colonial 18-October 11th-12th
Washington, D.C. – The controversial documentary Border War: The Battle Over
Illegal Immigration is debuting in Atlanta at the AMC Colonial 18 on October
11th at 7:00 p.m and will also run on October 12th. Conservative documentary
film makers Citizens United Productions is bringing the film Border War to
theaters nationwide.

Border War, which was produced by Citizens United president David N. Bossie,
documents the lives of five individuals affected by the war taking place at the
U.S.-Mexico border. Border War presents the intersecting real life stories of
five people directly impacted by the continued conflict on America’s southern
frontier. The compelling stories and incredible visuals of Border War, which
was shot in high-definition, will leave viewers demanding answers. Border War
was written and directed by Kevin Knoblock.

“We wanted to explore the most explosive domestic issue of our time by allowing
those on the front lines of immigration policy to speak. We thought it was
important to hear directly from undocumented workers, a high-profile member of
Congress, the victims of border violence, open border advocates,
Hispanic-American ‘Minutemen,’ and U.S. Border Patrol agents. All of these
voices combined make a true and compelling story,” said David N. Bossie. The

Herndon, Virginia joins growing number of towns all over America in trying to protect its citizens from illegal immigration: Why no towns or counties in Georgia?

From the Fairfax Times in Virginia:

Herndon follows trend with federal training
By: Gregg MacDonald
10/03/2006

The Town of Herndon has joined a small but growing number of municipalities nationwide that have decided to tackle illegal immigration at the local level in the absence of a national policy.
At last week’s town council meeting, Mayor Stephen DeBenedittis and five council members approved a resolution allowing the Herndon Police Department to start receiving federal immigration law enforcement training, providing them with the ability to detain and help deport illegal aliens.

The Herndon Town Council passes a resolution enabling the town to pursue federal immigration law training. Council also drafts two other immigration-related resolutions that would deny business licenses and town contracts to anyone not able to prove U.S. citizenship.

October 2006

Jackson Miller, a member of the Manassas City Council and a former police officer, urges fellow council members to follow Herndon’s example and pursue federal immigration law training.

During a press conference that evening, police Chief Toussaint Summers said the training will allow officers to “immediately begin processing initial deportation paperwork on illegal aliens.”

But the approval process for the training may take a little longer than expected judging by the experience of others that have already applied for it.

John Hensley, chief of the Cosa Mesa, Calif., Police Department, was in a similar position about a year ago and is still waiting to be able to implement training for his officers.

Lt. Allen Huggins, a spokesman for the Cosa Mesa Police Department, told The Times Monday that the city council there approved the federal training initiative last year and “contacted the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement to examine the criteria and procedures for enforcement of federal immigration laws by local law enforcement.”

However, a memorandum of agreement, the next step in the process, is still being tinkered with and has yet to be ratified, according to Huggins.

“The federal government doesn’t move quickly,” Huggins said. “A lot more cities and towns are getting into this, and I think [the bureau] is taking more time, thinking it through more carefully, determining what they will allow and will not allow. They’re trying to be consistent in all areas.”

The Herndon Town Council also is considering two other immigration-related resolutions that would deny business licenses and town contracts to anyone not able to prove U.S. citizenship.

You can read more here.

The quote in the article that says the feds move slowly is accurate…it has been more than five years since 9/11 and our borders are still not secure. We should all be asking our city and county governments here in Georgia when they will offer the same protection that Herndon and other American local governments have begun to seek.

Illegal aliens protest enforcement of Social Security regulations in Chicago

I cannot make stuff like this up.

From ABC Channel 7 news in Chicago.

Fear not, because it cannot happen here. Right? This has video if you want to see for yourself.

September 30, 2006 – A local group fighting for immigrant rights is calling for a boycott of two nationally known companies. Dunkin Donuts and Applebee’s are accused of discriminating against immigrant workers whose names don’t match their social security numbers.

Some immigration rights groups at Federal Plaza say it is no mistake there has been an increase in effort to curtail immigration reform. They have planned a day of fasting in protest of the ‘no match’ letters, raids, and deportations.

“It looks to me like its racism,” said Emma Lozano, Pueblo Sin Fronteras.

Sen. John Cornyn, a Texas Republican, tips the hand of the Senate and the President… border fence will not be built

Border fence won’t happen, GOP lawmaker says

Eunice Moscoso
Cox News Service

WASHINGTON – Sen. John Cornyn, a Texas Republican and key liaison to the White House on immigration, said Tuesday that 700 miles of fencing approved by Congress will probably not be built because of a lack of money and other practical considerations.

“It’s one thing to authorize. It’s another thing to actually appropriate the money and do it,” he told reporters.
There’s different kinds of fencing … there’s the old fence post and barbed wire, and then there’s the virtual fence which is a combination of physical barriers, people, and technology and I think, in the end, that will probably be how this is addressed,” he said.

Cornyn added that 700 miles of fencing would not solve the problem of illegal immigration because it would still leave about 1,300 miles of unfenced border.

“I’m not sure that’s the most practical use of that money,” he said.

Cornyn doesn’t coment on fencing the entire border with third world Mexico…or that Disneyland is more secure than our children’s nation.

Mexico predicts immigration accord ‘sooner or later,’ calls border wall ‘useless’

By Mark Stevenson
ASSOCIATED PRESS

8:50 a.m. October 3, 2006

MEXICO CITY – President Vicente Fox’s spokesman said Tuesday that an extended U.S. border fence was “useless and unworkable,” and he predicted that the two countries would reach some form of immigration accord “sooner or later.”
In a diplomatic note sent to the United States on Monday, Mexico harshly criticized a U.S. Senate vote authorizing 700 miles (1,125 kilometers) of new fencing along the border. The project will cost an estimated US$1.2 billion (euro950 million.)

It must still be signed into law by President George W. Bush. Mexico is lobbying the U.S. leader to veto it
